Ray provides customized consulting to health care providers, particularly community clinics and school based clinics. Ray is a generalist, with a wide range of skills in finance, contracting, information systems and as an executive director. He is well aware of the differences between organizations, and how the accounting and information systems represent the personalities of the decision makers, the requirements of funders and external stakeholders, and the local payer market. He does not have "canned solutions" or "packaged software" to sell. He wants to understand what makes your organization run, and how to tweak or supplement your existing systems to provide better information, more efficiently, and more cost effectively.

1. Interim CFO - Ensure critical financial tasks are completed properly while you search to fill the permanent position of chief financial officer. Tap executive problem-solving expertise.
2. Financial Modeling of the Revenue Cycle - Develop scenarios and business plans with information from your practice management system, including payor mix, provider productivity, managed care profitability, cost-based fee schedules, and receivable valuation.
3. Grants Management - Develop systems and processes to ensure proper accounting and tracking of grant funding and objectives, and that they are synchronized with the organization's accounting system. Develop pro formas for new services.
4. Business Process Evaluation - Help the organization achieve its mission by ensuring that the accounting and other information systems collect the information and produce the reports needed for management decision making and for external stakeholders.
5. Revenue Cycle Training - Train staff on basic elements of billing, coding, collections and managed care contracting.
